This is Edinburgh Caste. Built on an extict volcano, when the ice age covered a large portion of Europe, the hard basaltic rock, that this mountain is compirsed of, wasn't eroded by glaciers. Andy would tell you that this process is called crack and tail.
This really give Edinburgh an awesome scenery. You end up getting streets that are essentially staircases that enable pedestrians to get from one street (at the bottom of a hill) to the next at the top of the hill!
This is Charlie at the Castle. The day we went to go see the castle it was foggy and cold. but even the weather didn't stop this hard core turtle from seeing the sights of Edinburgh!
