Maun
Well i'm in Maun now. Arrived yesterday from Zambia. It took over 12 hours to get here, as we (kieran and I) had to take a bus, then a ferry, then a kombi and then hitch-hike across Botswana to get here. we took every form of land transport you can imagine, except for a train!
its now 34 degrees here and it is hot hot hot! last night we set up our little tent and could barely breath it was so hot in there! but we're surving. i'm certainly glad that there is showers at the backpackers were we're staying!
Tomorrow we're planning to do a canoe trip across the Delta to look at some game and take in the delta. i'm excited for it, not necessarily the canoe part (i'm not a big fan of being cramped up in a small boat for hours on end) but the being on the largest inland delta in the world part. i'm excited about that!
Well that is about all i have to say, i think i'm going to go and explore maun a little more and then head back to the backpackers for a while to catch up on some Z's and just relax for a while!
later,
Rob.
